IT was a largely disappointing weekend for the Worcestershire clubs in the Southern League Premier Central.
Only Alvechurch came away with a win; Sam McLintock's wonder goal in the first-half securing a narrow 1-0 win over Biggleswade Town.
The victory lifted Church up a few places to mid-table ahead of Tuesday night's home clash with Stratford Town at Lye Meadow.
Bromsgrove Sporting surrendered an early first-half lead at home to lose 2-1 to Royston Town at the Victoria Ground.
Jourdain Masidi scored for the Rouslers but a Brandon Adams penalty completed the comeback after Adam Murray's equaliser, with Cody Fisher sent off late on for the hosts.
Redditch United were also beaten at home as top of the league Peterborough Sports recorded a 1-0 victory at The Valley.
Jordan Nicholson scored the winner in an open game with Dan Jarvis hitting the post two minutes after the solitary goal.
United are back in action on Monday evening against Coalville Town.
At the bottom, Stourbridge remain without a win this season after conceding a late leveller in a 1-1 draw with 10-man Needham Market.
Callum Sturgess was sent off for a tangle with Glassboys' Reece Styche 17 minutes from time.
The hosts took full advantage two minutes later with youth prospect Dan Gyasi converting Styche’s cross-shot from the right at the back post.
It looked like a first win of the season was on the cards but Jose Santa De La Paz capitalised on a half-cleared cross to lash home and earn a point for the team one place above Stourbridge.
