THE draw for the first round proper of the Buildbase FA Vase has today taken place as teams begin dreaming of a Wembley date.
Worcester City, who came through their second-round qualifying match with Bilston Town 3-1 last Saturday, have been handed a home tie with Lutterworth Town.
Lutterworth play in the United Counties League Premier Division South (Step 5) and are flying high in third position with six wins from their last nine.
They beat Skegness Town 5-1 to reach the first round and in general are scoring goals for fun in their league with 30 in their nine games so far.

They are the only Worcestershire-based side involved in this stage of the draw with Worcester Raiders being knocked-out last weekend by Atherstone Town 2-1.
Raiders came close to the first-round proper for the first time in their history but were narrowly beaten by the Adders, who have been drawn away at Heather St Johns.

Malvern Town and Stourport Swifts are exempt until the next round after their performance in the Vase last season.
Teams that reached the last-32 of the tournament in the 2020/21 and did not get promoted into Step 4 (FA Trophy therefore) are automatically fast-tracked to round two.
Swifts and the Hillsiders were both knocked out in the fourth-round and are two of the 23 clubs that fit the criteria and will come in following the first round, as well as Westfields across the county border.
Winning clubs in the first round proper will collect £825 from the prize fund with those teams exiting at this stage also picking up £250.
