CAPTAIN Aaron Roberts scored one and set up another as Worcester City progressed into the first round of the Buildbase FA Vase after a 3-1 win over Step 6 outfit Bilston Town.
City had to come from behind to seal the win following Adam Garmson's first-half opener but goals from Josh Schuck, striker Dan Westwood and Roberts after the break sealed their place in the hat.
An upset looked on the cards in the 26th minute when Bilston's Garmson bundled in a cross into the box past keeper Brendon Bunn.
Westwood forced the home keeper into a decent save before half-time but the hosts maintained their slender advantage at the whistle.
It took a matter of seconds for the higher-league visitors to equalise as James Douglas' free-kick looped over everyone and find winger Schuck at the back post to nod home.
Worcester had their tails up and they took the lead just after the hour mark when Roberts managed to dig out a cross to Westwood who finished from close range.
The result was then confirmed jut four minutes later as the City captain Roberts got himself on the scoresheet with a header.
City will find out their first round opponents today in the draw.
