Sixways has been named as one of the top rugby stadiums in the world.
The home of Worcester Warriors is listed as one of the top ten stadia following a study by Liverugbytickets.co.uk.
The study included a content analysis of over 15,000 TripAdvisor reviews for the 40 largest stadiums by capacity.
Four factors were taken into consideration when deciding an overall satisfaction score: atmosphere, cleanliness, affordability and food.
One hundred and fifty reviews of Sixways were analysed, resulting in an overall score of 7.550 out of 10.
This score puts the Warriors home eighth in the rankings, sandwiched between Allianz Park of Saracens and AAMI Park, home to both the Super Rugby’s Melbourne Rebels and rugby league side, Melbourne Storm.
Peter Kelly, Warriors managing director, said: “We have invested significantly in improving the spectator experience at Sixways over the last three years and we are delighted to see recognition of our efforts in the Top 10 of world rugby grounds in this list.
“We have installed new floodlights, high-speed wifi, three new big screens with digital ribbons and improved our public address system to ensure that the Sixways matchday experience is one of the best in the Gallagher Premiership.
“But we are always looking at ways that we can improve and we value the feedback we get from spectators through our matchday surveys which are an invaluable source of information for us.”
The United Kingdom boasts nine of the top 10.
Top of the pile is Bath Rugby’s Recreation Ground, which earned an overall score of 9.5 and ranked highest for both affordability and cleanliness.
In second place is Welford Road, home to Leicester Tigers, with the Totally Wicked Stadium in St. Helens coming in third.
Parc Y Scarlets, in Llanelli, and Exeter’s Sandy Park round out the top five.
At the other end of the table, the Estadio Ciudad de La Plata, in Buenos Aires, ranked lowest with a score of just 0.3.
The stadium, which played host to Argentina versus New Zealand in 2012, ranked lowest for atmosphere, cleanliness and food.
The Allianz Riviera in Nice and Stadio Olimpico in Rome also scored poorly with 0.6 and 1 points respectively.
