INTERNATIONAL rugby is coming to Sixways with Worcester Warriors announcing they are set to host an under 18s fixture between England and Wales.

Warriors have previously hosted the England Under 21 team on four occasions in the last decade and the latest international to take place at Sixways is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 (kick-off 3pm).

Worcester's general manager Charlie Little said the club was delighted to once again be handed the chance to showcase an international match.

He said: "We are honoured to be chosen to host this prestigious fixture at Sixways and look forward to welcoming the England and Wales under 18 teams.

"Having already hosted international rugby here, the fixture will provide a further boost to the growing reputation of Sixways as one of the leadings stadiums in Europe.

"Our facilities have been recognised by the RFU and with improved car parking and access we are confident we will host a very successful and special event."

Tickets for the match are priced at £10 for adults (£12 on the day) and £5 for juniors (£6 on the day).

Limited on-site parking will also be available at £5 per car and must be purchased in advance.

Worcester Warriors debenture and season ticket holders have been given priority booking until January 18.

Tickets will go on general sale from Monday, January 28 from both the ticket office and on-line.

Meanwhile, Warriors academy prospect Matt Cox has joined National One outfit Doncaster Knights on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old flanker, who lined up for the Warriors' second string in their impressive 37-5 Guinness A League victory over Northampton Wanderers on Monday night, has also gained international ex-perience with the England under 19s.
