IT's full steam ahead now for Bromsgrove Sporting and Redditch United as they completed their respective pre-season programmes with victories.
Goals from Chay Tilt and Curtis Hutson saw United come from a goal down early in the game to register a 2-1 victory over Yate Town.
United had gone a goal down after 20 minutes when Dave Sims-Burgess calmly lifted the ball into the net from close range after a neat through-ball from Joe Tumelty.
The hosts responded just two minutes later when Rahis Nabi travelled with the ball before playing in Tilt, who stretched away from the defenders and slotted home.
The hosts then took the lead on the hour-mark.
A well timed run from Curtis Hutson split the two Yate centre backs and Tilt played the ball through to him before the former then took the ball to the left of the six-yard box and finished expertly.
As for Sporting, they were 3-0 winners over Southern League Premier South outfit Hendon FC at the Victoria Ground.
A brace of goals in the first-half from Miro Pais had put the hosts into a comfortable position but they had on-loan Aston Villa keeper Akos Anodi to thank for ensuring they had a clean sheet at half-time following his superb save.
Both sides continued to create chances but the game was finally put to bed with four minutes left on the clock when Bako Shama sealed the comfortable win with a low strike into the far corner.
Sporting kick-off their Southern League Premier Central campaign this weekend against Leiston whilst United, in the same league, host Hitchin Town.
