NEWLY promoted League One side Cheltenham Town have signed Alvechurch midfielder Dylan Barkers on a one-year deal.
Barkers has been on trial with the Robins during pre-season in wins over Coventry City and Hereford and has now secured a contract at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
The 21-year-old trialled for Leicester City U23's against Liverpool in 2019 whilst on the books of Guiseley and also spent time with National League outfit Solihull Moors.
Born in Holland, the former Church man will be involved in the squad that won promotion to the third tier of English football having won the League Two title back in May.
A deal has been reached between the two clubs that Barkers will return to Alvechurch on a short-term loan deal before completing the move to Cheltenham.
