HARRIERS are pleased to confirm that Ashley Hemmings has extended his stay with the club for a further season.
The popular player first arrived at Aggborough in October 2019 and immediately caught the eye of the Harriers faithful – since then he’s made 38 appearances for the club and netted 12 goals.
With one eye on the future, Harriers boss Russ Penn has made keeping Hemmings at Aggborough a priority and was delighted to have reached an agreement with the former Wolves youngster.

He said: “We can’t control what will happen with the current season at this level, but what I do know is that, collectively as a club, we wanted Ash on board for the future.
"I’m grateful to have been able to tie Ash down as he’s a big player for us – it offers him security but also gives us the boost of knowing he’ll be a Harriers player for a while yet.”
Hemmings tweeted: "Absolutely Buzzing I’ve signed a new contract to stay here for longer, ready to keep fighting and pushing this amazing club forward. Thank you to all that made this happen."
Hemmings will now remain a Harrier until the summer of 2022.
