WORCESTER City manager Ashley Vincent has resigned with "immediate effect" following yesterday's 3-2 FA vase defeat at Shepshed Dynamo.
Assistant manager Marlon Walters and coach Gaz Rogers also depart the club, it has been confirmed.
The club released the following statement: “Following yesterday’s FA Vase tie at Shepshed Dynamo, we can confirm that Ashley Vincent tendered his resignation as First Team Manager.
"We have accepted Ashley’s resignation and confirm he will leave the Club with immediate effect.
"Marlon Walters and Gaz Rogers will also leave their roles as Assistant and Coach.
"We would like to place on record our thanks for their efforts and time with Worcester City FC and wish them well for the future.
"We will now be going through due process to appoint a new manager."
City officials confirmed there would be no further comment at this time, as they begin the new search for management.
Worcester are scheduled to return to league football on December 19 with a home tie at Claines Lane against Heather St Johns after the Midlands Football League took the decision to postpone the restart until the government review the tier system next week.
