WORCESTER Wolves have helped four imports and key players return home due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
American centre Amir Williams and guards Mark Hughes and Cortez Edwards as well as Dutch forward Julius van Sauers have all departed the club.
The USA has extended their Coronavirus travel ban to the UK starting from Tuesday.
A statement from the British Basketball League outfit said: "We have helped Amir Williams, Mark Hughes, Cortez Edwards and Julius van Sauers with their arrangements to return home.
"We completely understand and respect their decision.
"We would like to thank them for an amazing season, wish them all the best and hope they have a safe trip home.
"We are communicating with the BBL and will make an announcement regarding the remainder of the season when further information becomes available."
The 2019-20 BBL Cup winners Wolves thrashed Sheffield Sharks 89-70 in the Championship on Friday night in front of a full house at the University of Worcester Arena.
But, with fears over COVID-19 causing cancellations in sports elsewhere and the Wolves squad reduced significantly with the players' departures, Sunday's trip to Cheshire Phoenix (5.30pm) is in doubt.
Scheduled opponents Phoenix have also allowed their American players to return home.
