WORCESTER is the venue as event organisers appeal for badminton players with disabilities to come forward.
The University of Worcester Arena, Hylton Road, hosts an inclusive badminton tournament for physical and learning disability players on January 18 and 19.
The Gold 4-Nations Worcestershire action runs from 10am until 4pm on the Saturday and 9am until 3pm on the Sunday.
There will be a free inclusive doubles event on the Sunday for anyone involved in the tournament.
Meanwhile, an inclusive festival features a free badminton taster session giving a fun introduction to the sport for players with a disability including friends and family.
It will be at the same venue on Sunday, January 19, from noon until 3pm.
National coaches will be there as well as players Jack Shephard and Krysten Coombs who hope to win medals at the 2020 Paralympics in Japan.
Heather Crump, chair of the University of Worcester Badminton Performance Centre, said: "We are recruiting for players with a variety of disabilities to get them enthused into badminton, find them a local club to join and then provide them with a performance pathway for elite training if they have the ability.
"We also have professionals around to talk through any confusion around what categories of disability people might be to make it easier for them."
Anyone interested is asked to head to badmintonengland.co.uk via the Compete and then Para-Badminton section and register by the closing date of New Year's Day.
