A JORDAN Sangha equaliser for Evesham United denied early Southern League Division One South high-fliers Frome Town last night.
A lively final six minutes saw Frome edge ahead throughJon Davies but Sangha struck back within 120 seconds to earn a 1-1 draw.
In the battle of the two Robins, neither side could break the deadlock in an end-to-end first period which produced little of note on target apart from Dan Cottle's shot being pushed wide by Evesham keeper Lochlan Robertson.
Evesham had further reason to celebrate after their late leveller with forward Lee Chilton agreeing a contract to stay for the rest of the season after an approach from another club.
They have now gone four games in all competitions without defeat.
United will search for their Sunday best again when hosting Southern League Premier South outfit Dorchester Town in the FA Cup first qualifying round (3pm).
The Magpies play a level above United. The winners scoop £4,500 prize money and move to within three rounds of the competition proper.
Daventry Town then visit in the Southern League Cup on Wednesday (7.45).
