WORCESTER Wolves have added more British talent to their roster with the signing of Kyle Carey.
London-born Carey, who is 6ft 6ins, brings further versatility to the floor with the ability to play at small forward and shooting guard.
With his experience gained at NCAA level in the USA with Northern Colorado Bears and Barry Buccaneers, Wolves believe the 22-year-old has the potential to shine in the British Basketball League.
Carey has also represented Great Britain at under 20s level and England under 18s.
Wolves head coach Matt Newby said: “I am really happy with this signing, it is important that young domestic players are given an opportunity.
"Kyle has so many upsides at both ends of the floor and I feel he will add more depth to our perimeter.
"He is tenacious defensively and has the ability and strength to defend multiple positions.
"Offensively he has a strong skill set which with further refinement will bring high returns.
"He has an exciting and versatile range of scoring and I hope to see him benefit from the environment and culture we are aiming to forge in the new season.”
Carey said: “I am very excited to become part of the Wolf Pack and I am ready to get to work with the team in the upcoming weeks.”
