FORMER Kidderminster Harriers player Brian Smikle has joined Southern League side Evesham United.
Vastly-experienced Smikle, who started off at West Bromwich Albion before heading to Harriers in 2006 for a four-year spell, has signed for new Robins boss Carl Abbott for the coming season.
The versatile 33-year-old, who mainly plays on the wing or at full-back, has also turned out for Cheltenham Town, Hereford United, Altrincham, Stourbridge, Rushall Olympic and Sutton Coldfield Town.
Smikle boasts more than 260 appearances for Harriers and Cheltenham.
Abbott has been busy bringing players in since taking over as manager at the Jubilee Stadium for the Division One South side.
