LUCTONIANS convincingly beat Broadstreet 21-0 to reclaim the top spot in Midlands One.

Coventry-based Broadstreet had also won all four of their opening league matches but were second best on the day.

The Lucs forwards controlled the match, while the backs made good use of the possession to run in three crisp tries.

The tries came from left wing Andy Garrod, scrum-half Ollie Williams and centre Charlie Meredith.

Brett Prior was on target with all three of the conversions.
