WARRIORS' director of rugby Mike Ruddock was left ruing his side's decision making as Worcester fell to their third defeat of the Guinness Premiership campaign.

The Sixways men gifted Saracens two killer tries that saw the Londoners head back down the motorway with a 21-16 victory.

A suicide pass from Shane Drahm handed Rodd Penney the Vicarage Road side's first try of the match before a stray kick allowed Richard Haughton to race away at the end to ensure Alan Gaffney's men went home with their third win on their travels this season.

Glimpses of the style of play that the former Wales Grand Slam winning coach is trying to instil in his player were on shown, but once again individual errors let Worcester down.

"It could have been so different," rued Ruddock. "That intercept try was a killer blow and it must have been like Christmas for Sarries.

"I was pleased with our defensive shape and I think that we showed some good attacking moments.

"But our own errors are killing us."

Once again Worcester's inability to turn possession and territory into points let them down as they search for that elusive win.

"We are giving away too many points," he said. "Whenever we get in an attacking area we don't respect the ball enough.

"I remember Phil Murphy getting turned over under the sticks, Mark Tucker going through trying to off-load inside but he lost the ball.

"Matt Powell went through at the end of the with a nice little half-break but lost the ball in the contact.

"We are not holding on to the ball in the contact zone in the opposition's 22."

Ruddock was pleased with the try that Marcel Garvey scored and the way that Dale Rasmussen smashed Saracens Adam Powell with two crunching tackles.

"We scored a really good try and we complimented Dale on his tackling at half-time," Ruddock said.

"We want everyone to be flying into the tackles like Dale, he really set the tone. But just like at Gloucester, we gifted too many points."

Ruddock's opposite number Alan Gaffney believes that it won't be too long before Worces-ter get the elusive win.

"Worcester will do well this year," the Aus-tralian said. "I'm not just saying that after this win. Not many sides will come here and win this season.

"The pleasing thing is that we came here and won ugly. Maybe they deserved a little more out of this game than they got but to give our guys their due that is three in a row now."
