PHIL Mullen resigned as manager of Stourport Swifts after his side crashed out of the FA Trophy.
Mullen's side are at the wrong end of the Southern League Division One Midlands table and a heavy defeat at his former club was the last straw.
Assistant Paul Davies will take over as caretaker boss while a replacement is sought for the Walshes Meadow hot-seat.
Cinderford took the lead 60 seconds before the interval when substitute Mark Wolsey handled in a goalmouth scramble and Richard Kear des-patched the penalty.
Jimmy Cox beat the offside trap on the hour to double the hosts' lead.
Richard Colwell was then brought on for Alex Lavery to partner Wes Joyce, switched from defence, in attack.
However, it was Cinderford who took advantage as Kear added two further goals late on to complete his hat-trick and seal Swifts' fate.
