KEVIN Banner scored a penalty three minutes from time as Bromsgrove Rovers salvaged a point.
Banner, making his first start since an injury lay-off, beat Ray Johnston with his spot-kick after Tom Gardner had handled in the box.
Tiverton went ahead as half-time approached. Although the assistant referee had signalled for a free-kick, referee Yates over-ruled the decision and Carl Cliff-Brown fired past Chris Taylor.
Chris McHale and John Snape were both cautioned for dissent in the aftermath.
Taylor made a good save to deny Tom Knighton early in the second-half before Rovers were handed their lifeline, which Banner accepted.
