WELL-organised Nunnery Wood Tigers Under 10s triumphed 1-0 at Nunnery Wood Leopards in the Stourport Youth League.

Leopards started well down the slope with Jack Dorey and Will Henshall going close in a goalless first-half with Adam Westbury impressing in goal.

Luke Obrey forced a good save at the other end, while Jai Gilchrist and Jake Rousell worked tirelessly. Ben Jones and Harry Loader defended superbly.

Tigers took over in the second period but Leopards' defender Connor Thomasson was outstanding.

The visitors, with James Ridge, Obrey and Christian Eyles impressing, broke the deadlock through Jordan Wise's goal from close range.

Ridge hit the bar with a header and Obrey nearly scored on three occasions. Leopards won a late penalty but Joe Bates struck the woodwork.

Top-of-the-table Warndon Villages Sharks triumphed 2-0 at much-improved Mostyn Rangers.

Sharks pressed from the start with Jaz Milward causing mayhem down the wing and he was supported by Matt Sowden and Louis Cafferkey.

After creating several half-chances, Sowden split the defence and set up an easy chance for Jack Rule.

The second-half followed a similar pattern and Sharks grabbed the killer goal through Kieran Burns after good work from Liam Dayus and Callum Parker.

UNDER 11s: Nunnery Wood Panthers earned their first point of the season at home to Worcester Youth in Division One from a 1-1 draw.

A superb Dan DeGaris free-kick mid-way through the second-half replied after Youth took the lead after keeper Gilbert blocked a free-kick.
