WORCESTER City Youth teams warmed up for the JPL Elite League with Worcestershire FA Cup wins.
The under 14s beat Welland Juniors 3-0 while the under 15s breezed past Kidderminster Harriers 6-0.
Despite dominating, the under 18s needed penalties to defeat Bromsgrove Sporting after a 0-0 draw.
City confidently netted all five spot-kicks after keeper Sean Dayus saved Sporting’s first to help his side progress 5-3.
Fielding younger players, the under 18s got a second Midland Floodlit Youth League Cup win, beating Rugby Borough 5-0.
Jack Baker and Josh Schuck scored their first goals for the older age group.
In the JPL Development League, a strong first half saw City under 12s win 7-2 at RTC Herefordshire.
Without a regular keeper, the under 13s won 1-0 at Solihull Academy thanks to a Jamie Hill free-kick.
The under 10s boys and girls and the under 11s passed the ball well against Halas Hawks, Wyre Forest Phoenix and Kidderminster Harriers respectively.
The under 18s won 2-1 at Leicestershire side Brooke House College 2-1 in a friendly thanks to Matty Patrick-Rivers and Olly Berry.
