WORCESTER Swimming Club went to the City of Coventry Sprints and came away with the top visiting club title.
This is now the third successive year Worcester have won this trophy.
Worcester entered over 50 swimmers in the four sprint events, the fastest overall eight swimmers were then entered in the medley final.
Competition was tough, especially from Leamington and UEA Norwich, however, wins went to Dani Hunt, Sarah Cowin, Amy Cooke, and Nicole Gasic.
Hunt also came second in her backstroke race with Tabitha Monkhouse and Jess Zelley also finishing second.
An excellent third place was achieved by Poppy Bramford, who was swimming as one of the youngest competitors. Other third places were achieved by Ru Monkhouse and Chloe Naughton.
The medley finals then pitted the best overall swimmers and excellent swims from Naughton and Monkhouse, who both came second in their finals, and third places for Jonathon Edwards, Hayley Weaver and Tabitha Monk-house.
Other finalists were James Cooke, Cara Lee, Robyn Wyton. Jess Zelley, James Allen, Poppy Bramford, Dani Hunt and Adam Whitaker.
This is an excellent start to the season for Worcester, who now look forward to their own two day open meet on October 20 and 21.
