WORCESTER Wolves were edged out 94-90 by Milton Keynes Lions in their opening British Basketball league game of the season.
The sides were all square at half-time and Wolves had edged into a slender lead at the end of the third quarter.
In a nail-biting finish, new-look Worcester, who finished bottom of the table last season, were just squeezed out after an encouraging start to the new campaign.
