JACK Ferman netted twice as improving Nunnery Wood Leopards Under 10s beat Wyre Forest Panthers 3-0 in the Stourport Youth League.

Leopards started brightly and opened the scoring through Keiron Smith's long-range effort.

Sam Hayes went close to extending the lead but Leopards wrapped up the game in the second period.

Jack Dorey opened up the game for Ferman, who coolly scored the second goal.

He then doubled his account for the game.

Will Henshall and Dorey had fine games in midfield, while keeper Joe Bates did well.

Warndon Villages Sharks went top of the division with a 2-0 win over Kidderminster Lions.

Callum Parker and Matt Sowden grabbed the goals. Lions pressed hard but defenders Liam Dayus and JJ Kealey kept them at bay.

UNDER EIGHTS: Josh Hadley scored the only goal as Nunnery Wood Scorpions fell 7-1 at home to Kidderminster Lions.

Harry Saunders inspired Scorpions to a fine start with marauding runs down the left wing and some good crosses.

But Lions, a year older than many of their opponents, broke swiftly with excellent passing and shooting.

One goal was parried into his own net by the otherwise excellent keeper James Francis from a corner.

Man-of-the-match Francis did well to keep the Lions tally down to seven goals.

But another superb run and cross by Saunders was met by Hadley for a consolation against the leaders.

UNDER NINES: Warndon Villages Piranhas earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ferndale Flyers in Division One. Tom Southam scored.

UNDER 11s: Nunnery Wood Panthers slipped to their third Division One defeat of the season, losing 3-2 at Worcester Colts.

However, Panthers can take solace from the performance despite adding two own goals to Colts' cause.

Harley Brewster put them one up with a good finish but Colts led 2-1 at the break.

Harry Clark dispatched the equaliser but an unlucky, late own goal condemned the boys to another defeat.
