HEREFORD United make the long trip to Grimsby Town on Saturday looking to continue their superb start on the road.

The Bulls are currently one of four teams on 14 points at the top of League Two after they secured their first home win of the season with a 4-2 victory against Bradford City last Saturday.

Graham Turner's men have also won all three games away from Edgar Street so far this season - scoring seven goals and shipping just one in the process.

Confidence is high heading to the east coast side, who recorded their first three points of the season with a 2-1 victory at rivals Lincoln last Saturday, and Turner is expecting the same approach.

The Hereford chief, whose side also visit Notts County on Tuesday, said: "It's a terrific record to start the season with three consecutive away wins.

"We'll go up there with the same spirit and determination, the same organisation and there's no reason why we shouldn't take good points from these two matches.

"The first thing is to go and address the Grimsby match, put on a performance like we've been doing and take the three points there and then we move on to Notts County.

"Grimsby had their first win of the season at Lincoln last Saturday and I thought it was a very good victory in a local derby for them.

"We've had trouble at Grimsby in the past and we've got to go up there with the same sort of spirit that we've shown in the previous three away matches."

United have no injury worries ahead of the match which means Turner could be faced with a selection poser.

Strikers Steve Guinan, Trevor Benjamin and Theo Robinson were all on target against Bradford but only two are likely to start against the Mariners.

Australian full-back Trent McClenahan is available again following his return from international duty but is not certain to oust Richard Rose from the side.
