WESTFIELDS host Barwell on Saturday (3pm) looking to take their unbeaten Midland Alliance record into October.

Sean Edwards' side have won five and drawn two of their first seven games and currently sit third in the table.

However, their fine start to the season has been slightly overshadowed by defeats in both the FA Cup and FA Vase.

Yet chief executive Andy Morris is delighted with their efforts, although he is wary of the threat posed by Barwell.

He said: "They have always been a bit of a bogey team. We have never won there and struggled at home against them.

"But we have only dropped four points in our opening seven games. It's a tremendous start and if we can stay in the top three for the season I shall be delighted."

Keeper Jon Pugh is on international duty with the England blind team and will again be replaced by Rory Hollingshead.

Jamie Cuss serves a one-match ban for picking up five bookings.
