JULIE Harwood scored twice as Worcester Women's Firsts lost 3-2 at home to Gloucester City in a friendly.
With minds left in the changing room, Worcester went 1-0 down in the first three minutes.
From that point onwards, Worcester found their stride and applied a good period of pressure until half-time which led to a deserved equaliser scored by Harwood.
But they conceded a quick second to Gloucester while still celebrating the leveller.
It resulted in a gruelling half-time talk and another equaliser after the break from the reliable Harwood after a well-rehearsed passing move.
However hard Worcester battled, Gloucester soaked up the pressure and attacked on the break with clinical passing to eventually score the Worcester Seconds were handed a 12-1 beating at Bridgnorth with Jenny White on target.
Worcester started strongly but Bridgnorth managed to break through the defence early on and scored twice within the first 15 minutes.
Worcester kept their hopes up and White made a great run to slot home Vicki Kovacs' pass.
However, Bridgnorth proved too strong and led 6-1 at half-time.
Worcester battled on and were unfortunate not to find the net after numerous attacks.
