WORCESTER Warriors won't have to worry about tackling an errupting Volcano' when they take on local rivals Gloucester at Kingsholm on Saturday.

Cherry-and-whites newboy Lesley Vainikolo, who an-nounced his arrival in the Guinness Premiership with an amazing five-try burst against Leeds on his deubt after switching codes from the Bradford Bulls, will be sidelined with a neck injury.

The Tongan-born wing has been ruled out until October, but scans have revealed no serious damage after he was injured during Gloucester's 38-31 victory over Saracens.

Vainikolo was trapped at the bottom of a ruck mid-way through the second-half and had to be substituted as a precaution. The scans showed bruising to his neck muscles.

Meanwhile, Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock has dismissed reports linking the club to two new signings.

Ben Cohen, the former Eng-land wing who has left relegated Northampton Saints after buying out his contract, and Warrington Wolves full-back Brent Grose have both been linked to a move to Sixways.

However, Ruddock said: "We are always interested in talented players such as Ben Cohen and Brent Grose, but at the moment we are not looking at player recruitment.

"I have not spoken to either player in relation to a move to Worcester Warriors."
