WORCESTERSHIRE Grasstrack Club's Scott Francis and John Skinner picked up a podium place in a big 500cc sidecar meet.
The duo finished third in the support class at the UEM Individual European Grasstrack Championship final near Folkestone, Kent.
They were reserves and were lucky to get a ride when the Kerrison team could not compete but took full advantage with a fine display.
There was close racing between Francis and the Welsh duo of Barrie Bennett and Eifon Hughes.
The next Worcestershire grasstrack meeting is at Hindlip on October 20 and 21.
