JUNIOR black belt Ryan Holdham won a double gold at his second World Martial Arts Games.
Holdham is now back in training with brothers Wayne McNamee, 16, and Kevan, 18.
The 14-year-old Malvern Chase student returned from Regensberg, Germany, after scooping gold in both the kumite and grappling. Holdham also competed for the first time in the continuous sparring category, coming fourth to Canada's triple national champion.
He has had a four-week break from ju jitsu but is now back training three times a week in preparation for his next competition. Holdham will tackle the national championships at Perdiswell Sports Centre, Bilford Road, Worcester, on October 11.
He trains with Kyoshi Ross Iannoccaro seventh dan at St John's Sports Centre on Monday evenings.
