TWO Worcestershire gymnasts are getting ready to head off to China with Team GB for the 12th Special Olympics World Summer games.
Lesley Andrews and Sophie Lane, both from Kidderminster, have been chosen to represent Great Britain in the gymnastics arts category for the games which start in Shanghai on October 2.
The pair will meet up with England goalkeeper David James on September 26 at Heathrow before heading to the Far East.
Andrews and Lane are part of a 159-strong squad after competing in the Special Olympics GB National Summer Games in Glasow in July.
