FOR the first time in Grimley Raceway's 45-year history, the venue hosted two new formulas.

The crowds at the circuit, which is located near Worcester, were thrilled by race action from both the BRISCA National Ministox and the famous F1 Stock Cars.

The meeting also saw the final points round for drivers in the regular Grimley series.

The day saw four Worcester-based drivers claim honours, while an exciting days was had by competitors and spectators alike.

At the end of the racing, Ashley Harrison was crowned as the Grimley Manias champion.

Andy Tidmarsh walked away with the title of Two-Litre Rod champion.

The Novice Junior Mini title went to Tom Ball, while Max Lewis was named as the Super Stock Rod champion.

The next meeting at Grimley Raceway will be on Sunday, October 21.

The event will be a fun day with passengers in the race cars and Le Mans-style starts to the races.
