STOURPORT Swifts and Evesham United will be looking to bounce back from weekend defeats when they go head-to-head in the Errea Cup tomorrow night (7.45).

The two sides meet in a first round clash at Walshes Meadow, three days after both suffered second successive defeats in Southern League Division One Mudlands.

Swifts were thumped 5-1 at Romulus, while the Robins lost 2-0 against Leamington at St George's Lane.

Paul West's side is likely to be without Nathan Vaughan after the goalkeeper fell awkwardly towards the end of the Leamington match and had to be carried off.

There are also doubts over Simon Fitter (knee) and strikers James Knott and Wayne Lawley, while Steve Lutz is still suffering with a cracked rib.

Meanwhile, Malvern Town visit fellow league strugglers Stourbridge in a first round match (7.45) bouyed by picking up their first point of the season.

Paul Molloy's side were held 1-1 at home by Bedworth United to finally get off the mark at the sixth time of asking.

Stourbridge go into the tie on the back of a 3-0 home defeat to Leighton Town.

New Midland Combination Premier Division leaders Pershore Town travel to Southam United looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season (7.45).

Neil Hunt's side won 2-0 at Meir KA at the weekend to make it six wins out of eight so far.

Leading scorer Lee Hooper and defender Andy Chalmers, who both missed Saturday's game, are set to return.
