WHETHER you're the All Blacks or just a pub XV, winning at home is all that matters according to Worcester Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock.

Having lost 29-15 at Bath last weekend, Worcester take on Heineken Cup winners London Wasps at Sixways today (5pm) and all the former Wales Grand Slam winning coach can think about is getting that first win on the board.

"Winning your home games is vital whether you are a club coach, an international coach or just in the Welsh League Division Three South West!" said Ruddock.

"It is important to try and create an intimidating fortress at home where the opposition don't like to go to.

"The Worcester fans were fantastic at Bath last Saturday. We were disappointed that we didn't deliver a performance for them. We are doubly determined to deliver this week and give them something to shout about."

Ruddock has made three changes to the side that lost at The Rec. James Brown comes in at fly-half with Shane Drahm moving to full-back. Mark Tuc-ker replaces Gary Trueman at inside-centre with loosehead prop Darren Morris coming off the bench to swap with follow veteran Tony Windo.

The former Newport Dragons chief is hoping that hise team can put the disappointment of last weekend behind them.

Ruddock added: "We are looking to take a simple approach in terms of our game-plan and make sure we do the simple things well.

"Try and dominate the game-line and play from there - hopefully some of those adjustments in attack and defence will help us to hold the ball better and have a better shape.

"We'll respect Wasps whatever team they put out, they are European champions after all."

The Warriors boss is keen for his side to cut out the errors that were on show in the West Country last Saturday.

"We were obviously disappointed with the performance at Bath and we have been thr-ough the game in great detail," said Ruddock.

"Our possession share was excellent - we had something like 59 per cent and we should have got something out of the game - but our error count was just too high."

London Wasps director of rugby, Ian McGeechan is wary that the Warriors can hurt the European champions from all over the park He said: "Our team selection reflects both the need to match Worcester's powerful set-piece in the forwards and their genuine ball playing capability in the backs."
