ELEVEN-year-old golf prospect Sonny Priestley shot his first hole-in-one to win a car.
The member of Hadzor's Gaudet Luce club landed the ace at the Barratt Homes charity day in aid of Cancer Research at Redditch.
In a team event with 84 golfers, Priestley starred on the 175-yard, par-three 11th hole.
It had been nominated for the special prize of the day of a new VW Polo car.
When his drive struck the pin dead centre and disappeared down the hole, the youngster dropped his club and ran off down the fairway with everyone chasing him.
He has been playing for many years and is now off a 28 handicap.
Priestley plays for the Gaudet Luce junior team and learned the sport through the Russell Adams Golf Academy at the county club.
His coach Adams said: “We are all so proud of what Sonny is achieving in his golfing journey.
"He’s a fantastic talent and will go a long way if he continues putting the effort in he has so far."
