WORCESTERSHIRE Martial Arts' members have been busy winning awards.
Amy Pullen, 11, claimed the sporting hero accolade at the Wychavon Community Recognition Awards for dedication and commitment to her training and to the coaching and teaching of other students in the Droitwich Taekwon-Do classes.
Theresa Mitchell, 19, Joe Mitchell, 15, Pullen and Mylo Thomas, 11, all won Tryangle Awards at a ceremony hosted by Young Solutions at Worcester Bosch.
They won the accolades for achievement in sport and volunteering to help teach and support the children’s classes and some adult sessions at Worcester-based Worcestershire Martial Arts.
Club director and instructor Sally Gleaves said: "They are all fantastic role models. We are committed to the progression of our students.
"This is not just restricted to martial arts. We offer opportunities for the development of transferable skills and other life skills too."
