EVESHAM secured their first Midlands Two West (South) win since promotion with a 46-0 home thrashing of struggling Old Yardleians.
The Vale side moved up to seventh in the table with the precious success and will hope to follow up at another lowly side in Silhillians on Saturday, October 14.
Pershore crashed 42-0 at Harbury in Midlands Four West (South) which leaves them bottom of the table with no wins or points.
They visit Wednesbury in the RFU Midlands Junior Vase second round on Saturday.
Bredon Star host Brockworth on Saturday after a 47-7 home beating by high-flying Widden Old Boys last weekend.
In youth rugby, Evesham under 16s made a flying start with a 41-10 home win over Leamington.
Evesham’s Jake Smith couldn’t be stopped as he scored from close range from an Evesham scrum.
Further tries were scored by Kieran Downey (2), Euan Breach and Tom Headworth with the last two converted by James Carsberg to lead 29-0 at half-time.
The second period was a much tighter affair but Smith burst through for a try under the posts converted by player of the match Carsberg.
Leamington hit back to score but Smith completed his hat-trick of tries while full-back Charlie Haines put in a great tackle to deny their opponents.
