NORTH Midlands rivals Ludlow and Evesham will meet in the first round of next season’s RFU Intermediate Cup.
Evesham lost to Droitwich in the Midlands final of last season’s RFU Senior Vase but will compete in the Intermediate Cup next season having been promoted to Midlands Two West (South).
Ludlow will have home advantage on Saturday, September 16.
Droitwich, who were beaten national finalists in last season’s RFU Senior Vase, will also compete in the Intermediate Cup next season having also won promotion.
They have received a bye to the second round along with Kidderminster Carolians.
In the RFU Senior Vase Bromyard will host Shrewsbury in an all-North Midlands tie on Saturday, September 16.
Ledbury have a bye in the competition.
There are all-North Midlands ties in the first round of the RFU Junior Vase too.
Chaddesley Corbett host Aldridge, Church Stretton entertain Stourport, Herefordshire's Greyhound travel to Pershore and Wednesbury head to Redditch.
