FARNHAM were crowned RFU Senior Vase winners after a dominant second-half display saw them overpower Droitwich 37-15 at Twickenham.
Converted tries from Gabriel Hills for Farnham and Sam O'Brien for Droitwich as well as a penalty for both sides ensured the score was level at 10-10 at the break.
Hills crossed for a second followed by David Hurley while Toby Salmon also kept the scoreboard ticking over for Farnham.
Peter Knight's try gave Droitwich hope but Salmon kicked his 15th point of the match before brother Mike scored Farnham's fourth try of the game late on.
The score was level at the break with both sides scoring a converted try as well as a penalty.
Farnham, who were promoted from London Three South West this season, were first to cross with Hills shrugging off a tackle and showing pace and power to tear down the left wing for the first try of the game.
Salmon converted for 7-0 before Midlands Three West (South) champions Droitwich came back into the game.
After twice going close they finally crossed with O’Brien bundling over from close range after fine work from Aron Middleton which Scott-Walker converted for 10-7.
Farnham levelled the score though with the final kick of the game through Salmon’s penalty and he sent over another three points shortly after the restart.
Hills had his second try after bursting through midfield from distance before outpacing the Droitwich defence to cross which Salmon converted for 20-10.
Moments later Hurley finished off a fine team move on the right wing with Salmon again converting.
Flanker Knight powered over with 20 minutes remaining to get Droitwich back in the game but Salmon's penalty 10-minutes later gave Farnham a 15-point lead.
And captain Salmon crossed late on to seal victory and inflict on Droitwich a first defeat this season.
