WORCESTERSHIRE suffered a comprehensive six-wicket defeat to Somerset on a disappointing second day at Taunton Vale.
Josh Tongue top scored with 33 for the visitors as they posted 155 all out before Somerset cantered to victory.
James Hildreth was the only player to be dismissed by Worcestershire with Jack Shantry claiming the wicket as Michael Trescothick (38), Adam Hose (30) and George Bartlett (28) retired.
Eddie Byrom (12) and Ryan Davies (28) then scored the remaining runs as Somerset, who beat the County by 88 runs the previous day, finished on 160 from just 26.2 overs.
It could have been an even heavier defeat for the visitors had Tongue, skipper Joe Leach (22) and Shantry (19 not out) not shown some resilience.
Tom Fell made 24 before being bowled by Jim Allenby but Daryl Mitchell, Brett D’Oliveira, George Rhodes and Aussie overseas star John Hastings failed to reach double figures.
Alex Hepburn (16) and Ed Barnard (12) both fell victim to Max Waller before the previous day's top scorer Alex Milton was run out for a duck to leave the County on 81-8.
