OLIVIA Turner made it two black belts in two weeks for Kidderminster’s Samurai Judo Club following in the footsteps of Leah Grosvenor.
The 2016 European special needs and kata champion gained the points she required by winning a gold medal at the Nottingham Senior Open.
She claimed her grade the day before her 16th birthday five years after taking up the sport.
Coach Andrew Haffner said, “Olivia is simply an inspiration because of the way she puts heart and soul into her training.
"She has shown she can defy the odds and that hard work and consistent training pays off."
