NORTH Midlands have called up Whitchurch fly-half Dan Pemberton and Luctonians back row Piers Morell for their National Under 20 Championship quarter-final against Durham at Luctonians on Sunday (3pm).
Pemberton, the son of former North Midlands, Shropshire and Whitchurch lock Tom, returns having missed the emphatic win victory over East Midlands which secured a home quarter-final.
Fellow former North Mids under 18s player Morell will be playing in familiar surroundings at his home club ground.
His inclusion compensates for the absence of forwards Christian Edbrooke, Luke Ashmore and Greg Naptin through injury or unavailability.
Squad, backs: Tibbetts (Stourbridge), Pemberton (Whitchurch), Dight (Birmingham & Solihull), Davies (Church Stretton), Debenham (Harper Adams University), Leighton (Whitchurch), Adams (Chinnor), Williams (Stourbridge); forwards: Thompson (Dudley Kingswinford), Burgoyne (Birmingham Moseley), Moysey (Whitchurch), Thorneycroft (Sutton Coldfield), Grass (Newport), Hill (Telford Hornets), Knott (Bromsgrove), Castle (Birmingham & Solihull), Sheppard (Birmingham Moseley), Ward (Veseyans), Low (Birmingham Moseley), Morell (Luctonians).
