ORGANISERS of Shelsley Walsh have insisted the hill climb will be running this weekend, despite the floods.
There is a national B' meet tomorrow and the VSCC Hill Climb and Clubman meet on Sunday. The competitors' camping and trailer park is now in the Orchard and Lower Main car park.
The Midland Automobile Club held their first hill climb school at Shelsley following 10 successful years of sprint school at Curborough. Chief instructor Jim Robinson recruited Martin Groves, current British Hill Climb Champion, Simon Durling and Chris Merrick to help out.
They judged Morgan-driving Phillip Tisdall, of Shipston, as the top performing pupil and Porsche 911-mounted Andy Norris, of Reading, the most improved pupil.
