KIDDERMINSTER Victoria remained in sixth spot in the Birmingham League Premier Division table despite their game at Kenilworth Wardens falling foul of the poor weather.

Both sides picked up five points for the abandonned match, but results elsewhere went in KVCC's favour to prevent the Chester Road outfit from slipping further down the table.

On Saturday, KVCC travel to Wellington for a league match (1pm) before travelling to Banbury on Sunday for a Cockspur National Cup encounter (1pm).

The regional semi-final could be their route to a final at Lords, something they have yet to achieve despite reaching two national semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the scheduled npower Village Cup regional final between Bretforton and Overbury also fell victim to the weather.

The two teams will now meet at Overbury on Sunday to determine the winners of the Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Powys group and claim a place in the last 32 of the prestigious competition.
