THE doubles holders were skittled out of the competition in the Worcester Sunday League.

S Knott and K Cole, of the Magnificent 8, knocked out last year's champions C Davies and K Collins, of Head Hunters, by six pins.

After trailing on the third leg, Knott, with a 15 spare on the fourth leg, proved the difference as Magnificent 8 made it through to the semis.

Joining them are past semi-finalists S Thompson and J Holmes, of Prince Rebels, C W Waine and D Waine, of Lunch Bunch, and J Evans and K West, who also play for Prince Rebels.
