HEREFORD United are still waiting to hear from eight players who have been offered new contracts.
Strikers Andy Williams, Alan Connell and Marcus Palmer, centre-half Dean Beckwith, full-back Simon Travis and midfielders Rob Purdie, Sam Gwynne and Jordan Fitzpatrick are considering new deals.
Williams has been linked heavily with Bristol Rovers but chief Graham Turner is confident at least some of the players will sign.
Forward Tim Sills is in talks to leave Hereford with Rushden and Diamonds, Aldershot and Stevenage all reported to be interested.
