BRETFORTON and Overbury are chasing a place at Lord's in the npower Village Cup regional finals on Sunday.
The Cotswold Hills League Premier Division pair meet at Bretforton for a first national round place at the champions of the Cheshire and Clywd region on July 8.
Paul Jones' side lost out to Astwood Bank the last time they reached this stage of the competition and it's the skipper's big hitting that has helped them get this far.
"There's great spirit within the side and I am quietly confident that we can go further this time around," Jones said. "It promises to be a great game in front of a big crowd."
Opposing captain Paul Gillett said: "Our bowling is our strength and we would prefer to chase a total although we are on a bit of a roll at present."
