GREG Rawlinson will play a Test in his native Durban at the weekend after he was picked for New Zealand's Tri-Nations clash with South Africa.
The giant second-row, who will play for Worcester next season, wins his fourth cap for the All Blacks.
Rawlinson was born in Durban but moved to New Zealand in 2002 and plays for Super 14 side The Blues.
"He played for the All Blacks last year and I think he's probably playing at an even higher level this year because the competition is greater," New Zealand coach Graham Henry said.
It is the All Blacks' first game in the competition but South Africa have already recorded a victory over Australia after two late drop goals from Francois Steyn helped earn a 22-19 win.
New Zealand wing Rico Gear, who will be joining Rawlinson at Sixways next season, has not been included in the squad.
