TERRY Jenkins won his second Pro Tour title of 2007 with a 3-0 defeat of Wes Newton in the final of the Players Championship at Hayling Island.
The Ledbury ace followed up his Antwerp Darts Trophy victory with a battling performance at the Lakeside Holiday Village.
He saw off Bob Crawley, John Ferrell, Darren Johnson, Jelle Klaasen, Michael van Gerwen and Steve Beaton on his way to the final.
Jenkins begins his Stan James World Matchplay campaign against Alan Tabern.
The tournament, which takes place at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, gets under way on Sunday, July 22, and Jenkins will be the number five seed.
