ROYAL Grammar School Worcester's First XI won the Chesterton Cup for the third year running after a comfortable victory over Cheltenham College.
Cheltenham won the toss and batted first on an excellent pitch at New Road.
But tight bowling from Liam Booth and Charlie Jackson reduced them to 8-2.
Cheltenham recovered and were beginning to look threatening.
However, good support from spinners Dan Sproul, Neil Pinner and James Ganderton applied sufficient pressure to force mistakes from the batting side.
Athletic fielding, particularly from captain Tom Illingworth, did not allow Cheltenham to get away and they were held to 183 all out in their 40 overs.
The reply from RGS was emphatic as Olly Flower set about the Cheltenham attack, striking many fine boundaries in his innings of 55.
Pinner was far more controlled but just as effective as he stroked the ball to all parts of the ground before falling for 69 with only eight runs left to win.
Sproul and Will Ford made effective supporting contributions before Illingworth hit the winning runs.
RGS have now won the Chesterton Cup six times since its inception in 1991.
