KIDDERMINSTER Victoria marched into the Cockspur National Knockout regional semi-finals.

They followed up a tremendous Birmingham League win over defending champions Walsall by defeating Frocester by seven wickets in the cup.

KVCC's Gloucestershire visitors won the toss at Chester Road and opted to bat.

They made a good start by putting on 95 runs for the first wicket before Mark Mansell struck with Craig Siwicki claiming the catch to dismiss Mustow for 40.

Frocester lost just one more wicket on the way to 200 as Henson (36) was stumped by Josh Knappett off Matt Brace's bowling.

The dismissal of Trainer for 103, caught by Jonathan Wright off Sean Lloyd, was a turning point.

Wickets then fell regularly as Frocester managed 227-8 with Mansell (1-31) and Lloyd (2-27) bowling steadily.

But Brace was the star with figures of 5-49.

KVCC lost just three wickets in beating the target although they were down to 83-3 in the 19th over.

Wright (27), Andrew Siwicki (1) and Lloyd (18) were dismissed but Knappett (103 not out) and Craig Wood (51no) won the game.
